One of the most exciting things I’ve seen in recent years is the proliferation of Training Centers to help raise up, equip and release people into ministry – whether vocational or not. As you probably know, for the last several years, we have greatly benefited from our relationship with Bethel Church in Redding, CA. Their School of Supernatural Ministry has equipped and released hundreds of young (and older) people to bring the Kingdom of God (His righteousness, peace and joy) into the lives of others. Now our collaboration with Bethel is reaching a new level.
I’m delighted to announce the launching of the Great Lakes Supernatural Ministry School in September 2008 here at New Life. We will be utilizing DVDs from Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry in addition to our own instructors and disciplers.
Rev. Shawna Diehl will be in charge of the School. Shawna has served as an associate pastor and planted a church in California in association with the Vineyard and is currently serving on staff here at New Life as our Pastor of Worship and Creative Arts. She is an amazing lady and we are thrilled to have her at the helm of this new venture.
If you know someone who could benefit from this sort of one year, intensive program, please let us know or have them contact us. My pastor often said, “Christianity is only one generation away from extinction”. In light of the rising tide of revival, this is one strategy we believe will help mature believers quickly, and will impact our community with the gospel. We’re excited! Come join us!
